About Me

Micah Mannie (they/them/theirs) is a Manhattan-based performer. Originally from Texas City, Texas, they moved to New York in 2019 to study musical theatre at the Manhattan School of Music. With an emphasis on telling truthful stories, they have spent many years honing their craft and working with various directorial styles.

As a non-cisgender performer, they are interested in embodying roles of all gender expression as well as showing the world that not all pre-existing roles need to live in the gender they were written for. They are fighting to create their own space in the artform, and hope to inspire others to fight for their place as well.

Outside of performance, they have a deep passion for needlecraft design and a newly developing love for drag performance. They enjoy reading manga and have an ever evolving coffee addiction. They love to meet new people and are always looking to expand their horizons.
